I went to work, got a fair bit done, worked 8.25 hours, and, even though snow emergencies are being declared right and left, managed to get home in only about 45 minutes. I am very pleased. My day's calories are also less than 1500, which is also a plus.
Also heard, out of the blue, from the guy I was dating in about 2008. I wouldn't mind going out with him a time or two again, if that's what he has in mind. (You never know: he could want to use me as a job reference! While we've never worked together, we do work more or less in the same industry.)
