More Torchwood tidbits: One of the other countries visited is China, specifically "the slums of Shanghai". And Davies tells us that: "There's a great new character called Dr Vera Juarez. She's almost the fifth member of the team. I'm imagining Vera as mid-30s Latina, but that could all change when we get to casting." Since Gwen, Jack, and Rex are the three leads, I presume he's counting either Rhys or Esther as the fourth member of the team.
Sidenote: The more I listen to J. Michael Straczynski's commentary on my Babylon 5 DVDs, the more I get the impression that he and Joss Whedon are brain-twins.
