I know I haven't written here in a while, but this made me angrier than I've been in a long time. America really scares me sometimes. Even though it was a drill, the police illegally searched CHILDREN, violating a constitutional RIGHT to be free from unreasonable searches. "The purpose was to show how we will evacuate the classroom, not to assault the classroom." So, really what this was about was to get people ready for what's coming. What's it going to be like when kids EXPECT the police to bust in with riot gear on, throw them against the wall, and search them? What if people become OK with that?
This comes right in the middle of the most unfair set of elections since... well, the last set of US elections.
