[...Whoa an arrow just came out of nowhere and hit a target which was a few yards to his left as he was walking in the southern part of the village.

[He jumps out of a tree, planning to retrieve the arrow. He seems surprsied to see Haruki. He'd noticed there was a person nearby when he made the shot, but he hadn't paid any mind to who it was until he got out of the tree.
