Well... yes and no. I arrived here with a staff and throwing knives, so I would assume I have some fighting ability myself, but...

The reason I was hoping to watch experienced fighters in combat is because my brother was a swordsman. I think that comparing different styles of fighting might help me better understand my brother's style.

You see, there's a possibility that one of the other residents on this island was trained by my brother, so by understanding different sword techniques, and then watching this person, I think I might be able to confirm whether or not his teacher was actually my brother or just someone with the same name.

If you want to know about different sword techniques, you came to the right guy. I know hundreds of them. You give me the name of this guy or your brother's style, and if I've encountered it, I should be able to mimic it for you.

What's the name of this guy on the island, anyway? I'll add him to my list.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if his style has a name. I just remember watching my brother practice with his sword when I was younger. But my brother's name is Van.

Oh, him? His name's Luke fon Fabre. I wouldn't know if he's any good or not.
