Seriously, I'm beginning to see why a pool in the garden actually LOWERS the value of a property.

Pool engineers were out last week to open up the pool after winter and fit the pool cover fixings. They said 'leave it a few days with the filter running, take the cover off and it should be almost clear'

We noticed a couple of days ago that there was a monster from the deep rising from the depths of our pond pool to snack on waterboatmen. We spotted him again today, desperately trying to get out and being unable to do so (poor thing musta been knackered - they need to rest and breath air!). All in all, the weekend thus far has been a good one. Its been a bit of a bust again today. I'm having serious motivation issues. Combined with a mental block against my current list because its dated 4th Jan.
