A while back I posted asking for cabling help. You guys were great, very helpful and encouraging, and I wanted to say thanks. :)
I sent the scarf off to the
Red Scarf Project (yes, it was that long ago) but the only pic I could get of it was with my cell phone camera. (This is also my lamp's first modeling job. Good old lamp.)
Yarn: TLC Essentials, Barn Red
Needles: Size 8, Boye fixed circulars (Love the tips, but wouldn't use them for knitting in the round.)
The pattern is the
Irish Hiking Scarf. I was very pleased with it; it was easy to remember once I got a couple repeats in, and went quickly. The only problem I had (other than my horribly tight stitches) was when I learned the back side of cabling looks like a knotty mess! I think I'll try the
Palindrome scarf some time since I like the look, but prefer reversible scarves.
