i missed the first half of "histoire(s) du cinema", but i got to see the last four chapters last night; "la monnaie de l'absolu and "les signes parmi nous" were the best; once i get over my usual godard stylistic reservations, it works beautifully - a visual poetic essay, lots of ideas packed together, an overall melancholy feel and the soundtrack ( Read more... )
