shameless plug and rambling
Hm, I seem to make a lot of late night posts. I really should be in bed right now, but it's hard to break my nocturnal habits.
I've been thinking about the holidays, since, you know.. it's the holidays and all. I really don't want to buy any presents this year. And I don't want anyone buying any presents for me. I'm not really expecting any presents from any of you, but if for some reason you want to get me something, please think about alternative gift giving instead. Actually, think about alternative gift giving for all your loved ones.
At my job we have this holiday package where you can Adopt an Acre or Adopt a Reef and get a box of chocolates too. Isn't that a sweet deal? >rim shot< Check it out ya'll. Save the rainforests and coral reefs 'cause like, we can't live without them and stuff!

I usually love the holidays and I usually love exchanging presents, but for some reason I feel really disenchanted by it. Maybe it's the bombardment of it that's turning me off. Must be the fake, cheery, holiday music playing all over downtown.. blah. I'd rather make cookies for everyone rather than buy them something. Everybody likes cookies! I'm also thinking about making my own cards again, but this time out of recycled materials.
Hm.. what else is going on? My neighbor friends downstairs got a kitty, even though we're not supposed to have cats here. She is a Siamese/snowshoe mix and is super cute. I was going to visit her today but then I got distracted with myself.
Last night I went to the Porn Palace for a benefit party my friend Ryan was DJ'ing at. I had only recently heard of the Porn Palace because Sander DJ'd there a couple weeks ago. It sounded pretty scary and weird.. then I went to it and thought it was pretty cool! I guess I was expecting to see gross stuff or something. But it's just a space with a couple different rooms with different setups for people to make porn. Ok, that does sound gross. I guess you have to see it for yourself. Not many people were there, but I had fun. I met a couple of Ryan's friends from Seattle, Shayna and Justin, who were super cool. If I visit Seattle again soon, I would love to visit them and have Shayna re-work on my tattoo.
Remember how I was planning on going to Taiwan and Korea for the holidays? Well, that's not gonna happen because it's gonna cost over $3000. Uh yeah, that's quite out of my price range. I'm gonna plan on going in February instead when it'll be significantly less. Hopefully I'll be able to visit Korea too. I really miss Jamal!
Well it's getting super late now and I want to wake up at 8am, so night night.
