rock opera
well...today was an interesting day to say the least...woke up, went to my ten minutes with snart, then headed off back home to change and go to work. well i'm changing and i get a call from kris our install manager saying our truck is broken down on the side of 355...fun fun fun...so i get to work and walk down and the thing starts just fine so i drive it back to the store just in time to open...dan has large agenda for the day and i'm just gettin started on our numerous projects when mike walks in wanting me to take the truck out to their repair shop and mrs. holm will bring me back...so i do that...by this time it's 1 oclock already...how the time flies...so back to work on projects which i barely accomplish by the end of the day there at 4. i didnt get out of there till 4:30 though cause mike had other ideas. seems they needed another vehicle for an install later that evening so he let me take his extra civic he keeps out back cause he has no where else to park it. sweet! thing has a kickin sound system fit to take on anything...even if the rest of the car looks like crap. the thing has descent pickup too lol...
so justin calls me then and i pick him up and we go racquet the ball around for a while before rehearsal. still havent beaten him...argh...i am getting much better though.
so rehearsal was very interesting. things got off rather slow...and i guess kinda stayed that way. oh well...things should improve as the whole chemistry of the cast forms. i still need to work on my french...along with most others. blech...was not pleased with myself on that. one thing i also realized is that i need to find my stage presence again, especially when it comes to interactions with females...anyone who knows me knows that this just isnt my thing in general...so it will be an adventure all over again...i remember going through the same thing in high school...especially senior year...oi....here we go again...i'm lame...i'll admit it...lol...though i can't wait to actually start dancing...dancing is not a problem for me...its other choreography...eh...i dont get it...my mind plays weird tricks on me...doh...the end of the rehearsal really kinda aggravated me too...i had all this adrenaline going cause i was finally working into a rythm but then they just up and stopped at ten instead of actually running through everything we had learned....so now i'm all awake...anywho...some of us went to mcdoonalds after for a few snacks so that was cool...got to actually talk with other people from the cast so it was good times...group is up to 7 now...woot. anywho...maybe i'll go sleep...turns out mike didnt even need my van tonight so i get to do that install tomorrow...fun fun...then i guess i'm free the rest of the day though...we'll see...
lets see...thought of the blog...favorite social activity...mine would have to be dancing...whether it be swing, formal, choreographed, tap, club-style bump and grind stuff...doesnt matter...dancing is awesome...though i could stand to learn a few more styles..like salsa or go back and relearn the swing stuff that i don't remember anymore...anywho...peace out
