I like learning about people, I like seeing different types of dances, I like seeing amazing contemporary pieces, I like hearing music I may not have heard before...but I am sick and tired of the focus on how girls look. There was also that thing a couple years ago when he made extremely homophobic comments about the two male ballroom dancers who auditioned together. Then the dancers came back the next year and Nigel was like, "Some people pointed out that my comments were rude, so I applaud your bravery!" It was such BS. Nigel's such a tool.

Yup, I remember them. He was legitimately disgusted, and it was just awful.

Yeah, it was the most awkward, second-hand embarrassing moment, and it didn't have to be. The judges made it so and then blamed the dancers. I was so horrified.

YES. And they talk about contestants not being "manly enough," or some shit, and it's like...um, okay, can they do the partner work? YES. SO SHUT UP.

Nigel is a huge creep, agreed. And the main Canadian judge is the ballroom expert from the original SYTYCD, and I like him well enough, but it's actually the other judges who say things like, "Oh, I bet you enjoyed that, huh?" HIS WIFE IS ANOTHER JUDGE, YOU GUYS, REALLY?
