'cause the party don't start 'til I walk in (it's stuck in my head, okay?)

In the next couple of days I plan to post a couple fics here (that are from fs_exchange and then possibly create a masterlist. So just...sorry in advance for the spam?

All I've done for the past week is talk to people about Inception. Except for when I was at work, and then I just wrote porn in my head. Um. Anyway. Actually, I've spent most of my week ( Read more... )

inception, figure skating, linkage, writing

Whatever, I loved Johnny's outfit. That is all I have to say about this post.

Also, still very sad about Ellen Page.

You actually just made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that.

I know, right? You totally could have been giving the speech at our wedding. (Why do I have no Ellen Page icons?

...oh, right.)

Hot men with British accents can do anything. OBVIOUSLY. It's like you've never seen Doctor Who.

I love that you started this comm yesterday, and it already has forty-two members. This is going to be epic.

I don't know the one. I'm sorry.

Well, shit. But why is she moving? She has that epic love-affair for Halifax going on.

...well. I haven't, really. Or I at least missed the episode in which the Doctor used his British accent to make people spontaneously come.

We are pretty awesome.

It's okay. You're allowed.

I think it's a career thing. Which is FINE. But it just sort of throws a monkey wrench into our epic love story.

I really like Johnny's costume! The froofy shoulder things are epic. :D

I didn't realise that Ellen Page was Canadian until now. /o\ I can't tell the difference between American and Canadian accents, so I'm always surprised when someone turns out to be Canadian. Are there big tells I could learn about? Like, pronunciation-wise and such?

We say Sorry with an O instead of Sarry. That's really the only thing I can reliably use to tell and I'm Canadian. There are other tells but they're less universal.

Also, we say 'eh?' instead of 'huh?' or 'hey?'

Whoa, where do people live that they pronounce sorry as sarry?

Ah, I've the jokes about that. ;)

I find that all Americans say it with more of an 'a' sound than we Canadians though you have to go to New York for them to really say saaaarry like The Nanny :p
