We ask many questions that everyone else asks. Everyone has asked them since the beginning of time. Im sure this sounds trite, but really who are we? Are we really the complex individuals we make ourselves out to be? Perhaps we really are nothing more than archetypes, maybe were a little bit of all the archetypes though. Has anyone ever thought a thought, done a deed, loved a person in a way that has never been done before. I dont think so. Perhaps its the combinations that make us who we are, but even then there are only so many combinations. After-all, we are made of the same stuff, the proverbial flesh and blood. And yet, even stranger than our likenesses is our tireless pursuit to establish ourselves as individuals.
