More than that he considers her a good friend and someone he could probably even fall for if he's doesn't keep his guard up.

Otherwise she's a fun person to be around and makes him laugh. Special note: They are no longer allowed to play card games alone and if they do, devices must be on locked down. :|

Ash definitely reminds Sam of an over the top version of his brother, Dean. Of course he will never really admit that out loud. Ash kind fills that void for Sam, even if the guy gets on his nerves a lot. He still respects him overall and considers him a friend. Otherwise he wouldn't be roommates with the guy.

They have only spoke a few times, but something about her sets off his protective older brother alarms. There's a naivety about her that makes him worry about the influences she takes in. He gets a feeling it is better she be surrounded by as many positive role models as possible, otherwise she could easily go down a dark path.

She apparently knew him from back when he was on the island before, but he has no memory of that time. Overall he thinks Liz is a smart and funny girl, but he is reluctant to do anything more with her. Since he is trying to avoid romantic entanglements and he kind of got the vibe that her interest in him was more than friendship.

The first time they met face to face was during the aphrodisiac rain, before that she was Leon's roommate. He definitely likes her on more than just a physical level. She's smart, attractive, witty and strong. She's one of those people, who has the potential to be bumped up to friend easily. As a side note, he has a bit of a crush on her.

She's one of the sweetest and genuinely good natured people he has ever met. He's simply amazed at how optimistic she is despite all the island setbacks. He really admires that about her and is very glad to call her a friend.
