Strange, I savored that day more than I'd expected...
Ah, Miss Izumi, that was quite the enjoyable trip. It made for a nice birthday outing, albeit if rather brief and on short notice...but thank you again for taking the time to show me around. That was possibly one of the most fascinating experiences I've had yet.
To any of you that might be curious, I traveled to Miss Izumi's...fandom for a short span of time, in order to obtain a top hat that I apparently won during her last 'challenge'. And a marvelous top hat it is! I couldn't have asked for better.
It's got the makings to be incredibly useful in times to come. And the shine of the fabric is a decidedly nice touch, if I do say so myself...
But in address to other topics, it would seem they've finally finished licking their wounds and are getting ready for another airstrike. This time it looks like they're aiming to extend this one for far more than a few days...I'll be flying up north for awhile. The chances are I'll be rather absent once again, to any that might happen to care.
And on a final note...how does one deal with a cleaning lady that seems determined to...clean everything? She's threatening to take a broom to the spiders...
