I suddenly have a trip to Hong Kong on Wednesday LOL. So what happened is my bestie was going to Hong Kong for two days with her sister to visit family and such. They were going to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibition with her sister's friend, but the friend has now suddenly stood them up, so they had an extra ticket. My friend decided to ask me, and I figured, that could be a good enough reason for a quick day trip to Hong Kong.
I could take the chance to check out how the immigration runs and so when my Dad eventually has to go to Hong Kong to make his proof of life thing at the Austrian Consulate, then I can help him out if there's any big change.
But, Yayoi Kusama, I'm actually not a big fan. I have a slight trypophobia so ugh. It's nothing bad. I just get goosebumps, is all, but yeah.
I'm also crossing my fingers as i saw an add about some discounted flight tickets, and if I'm lucky and manage to book that fare class, then it's less than $2500 HKD (USD320 or GBP260) for a round trip Hong Kong > London > Hong Kong and it would be a great chance for me to deal with those old GBP money notes I have. I've already held a room (free cancellation before April) and if it all works out, then I'll have another trip in the calendar.
Reserve one day for the money change, and maybe if I figure out with Vodafone if I can do something about my Boss' phone plan without him there, then that's that. And the rest? It's the Kew Gardens (that I really wanted to go in my last trip to London.... 2016 or so?) I'm eyeing this time, and I figured I might as well go on that Harry Potter studio tour thingamajig. And then... No idea. Might go away from London? Don't know what else there is to visit. Need to go read some tour books now.
That's if I get that promo price only! The room's really steep.
