After saying goodbye to folks at the Perk there'd been a portal to catch to get Angel, Logan, and Sean back to the LA of their dimension

Logan was awake. Sort of. He rolled over and draped an arm over Angel, not yet ready to get up.

Not like Angel was a morning person. He was, on the other hand, a guy who liked blankets. He tugged them in his direction.

Logan tugged the blankets back over himself. "You don't get cold," he complained.

"I like the weight." Angel tugged the blankets towards him again.

[psycho_jackass]

"Fine." Logan sighed dramatically and rolled away from Angel. "I'll just freeze." The room was at least 70 degrees and getting warmer.

Angel hauled him back. "Like your weight too."

[psycho_jackass]

"Humph," Logan grunted, but he snuggled up against Angel.

"Don't have work," Angel said. He pulled Logan close. "No cases."

[psycho_jackass]

"Just some paperwork and filing, but it can wait," Logan said. "We should really hire someone to do that stuff."

Angel paused at that.

"Uh... funny story."

Logan propped himself up on one arm. "Oh, god, you didn't hire Bel, did you?"

"Well he did ask."

[psycho_jackass]

Logan groaned. He flopped backwards and dragged a pillow over his head.

Angel laughed. "I told him no."

[psycho_jackass]

Logan let out a relieved sigh and pushed the pillow away from his head. "So what's the funny story, then?"

"I - uh - said yes to somebody else."
