Angel opened his eyes on his bed, his mind yet again filled with images of killing and drinking and carving.

"I'm thinking you're right," Angel said. He pushed away from his desk and went to open the door that, unbeknownst to his distracted mind, had Logan and Angela behind it.

Angel didn't look happy. He also looked like he was having a hard time making eye contact with Logan. "How much did you hear?"

Angela buried her head in her hands, trying not to think about what she had heard Marty say about killing.

"So we have to find out more about the killings," she said flatly. "Do you know anyone at the police station yet? Would they even help?"

Marty busted a gut trying not to make any jokes regarding soap.

"Probably the best thing for the situation," Marty agreed. "Keep everyone safe until we know exactly what is going on."

Angel finally managed to look at Logan. "There's chains. They should hold me."

And let's just not ask why Angel had made sure to buy those as part of his move-in prep.

Angela sighed and managed not to snicker. "Chains. Part of any well-stocked home, right," she said, not looking at Marty. "What do we chain you to? And I still think the whole tying you up thing is kind of gross."
