in conclusion

I was in newsday, indeed. I didn't even bother getting the papers yesterday or today because I very well may be in one of them somewhere, but at this point it's like...ok, yup, there's me again.

We did our little walk around Wednesday morning in costume. I got interviewed by CBS (NY), BBC, and some arab news station. As well as two foreign newspapers. No idea where for, I think one of the women may have been spanish.

I got back to my room and turned on the news to watch my surroundings on national television, and there I was right away on CBS.

I watched MSNBC for a while, since it was being filmed right outside my building, and the time delay amused me to no end. I'd hear the WOO!!!! and YEAHHHH!!!! outside, and then 6 seconds later, it was on tv. Really....ENDLESSLY AMUSING. I can't explain it.

I watched ABC News film for a while. We had a tv nearby the shoot so we could laugh at the time delay there, too.

Made some free buttons. Ate some free food. Watched the debate. Lily baked yummy cookies.
Watched my boyfriend stand and watch midnight hardball outside my building....from inside my building on my television.

I also just found out that some of the pictures my friend took with me in them as Bella Abzug - for the school newspaper - are also being sent to Washington, because the Commission on Presidential Debates wants photos of the events here for their records. So now, in some filing cabinet in Washington, will be a picture of me in a funny outfit.

BUT THE GRAND FINALE....

SNL Thursday Update made fun of Hofstra
CONAN O'BRIEN (we all should know how I feel about him) made fun of Hofstra.
...he made a Bill Clinton and Hofstra girls joke...which is the second time one of those jokes has been made on NBC in 4 years (small fact: the first time was on SNL the week Clinton spoke here my freshman year)
TRIUMPH THE INSULT COMIC DOG came to Hofstra to make fun of it. And though the clip of him telling my friend Chris he needed support for his breasts did not make the show, a lot of other funny things did.

That was really the epitome of the debate for me. SNL and Conan. As always.
