To say Rose was resting in the console room was a long was off what she was doing. Curled up, almost under the console, Rose tried to find strength and comfort from anothers TARDIS, and while they were the same, they were so very different. Even after saving the Master, Rose could sense it wasn't happy with her being there, but almost as soon as Rose curled up under the console, it realised she wasn't just human. In truth it had been her saving grace.

When she felt arms around her, Rose didn't even fight this time. Head resting on his shoulder she gave him a weak smile, "Hello...are we having cake?"

"I hadn't planned on cake, but cake sounds brilliant!" the Doctor said, almost gleefully. "Do you have money?"

They could always snatch it or bail on the check or use pychic paper, but the Doctor really had no desire to do just that. He felt very well rested...and Rose? Not so much.

"On second thought, which my cousin use to say was always the better thought, I think we ought to go searching for the TARDIS. Or the other me."

"In my pocket," she chuckled softly as she cuddled against him, listening to his hearts and finding comfort in them.

Rose let out a shaking breath, nodding slowly, "I suppose so," although she did sound very put out at the fact there'd be no cake. "Last place I saw here was where you found me."

"I can sniff out my Rose, but not the place without a Rose," he muttered softly, but he could try. It only took him an hour or two. "Last time a TARDIS left me, it was because we broke a time lock. I think it died."

"I don't know if I should be glad you can or completely grossed out." Rose nuzzled her nose against his jaw and let out a soft, content sigh, "Maybe it's because of the Doctor? I don't know. Maybe she misses adventure and traveling. Maybe it's because I hurt her?"

Rose let out the softest of breaths, her eyes closing, "Doctor, just because I'm with that other Doctor, you know you're still my Doctor, that no one would ever replace you."

The stopped, not because the Doctor was tired -- he could continue on like this for days if he had to -- but because it was important to have this talk. The bench under the trees would do for this.

"Rose, you're always my Rose. And just becuase you're with another Doctor doesn't mean that I believe anything else."

He touched her cheek and then gave her a big bear hug. "I'd never replace you either."

As he sat, Rose stayed in his lap.

"Forever," she whispered before kissing his jaw and holding onto him tightly. She was a little more clingy than usual, worried maybe that her time was finally running down and she had so many things left to say.

"I know I'm not her, not really, the Rose you loved and left, but when I'm with you I feel more together. Not so...scattered. And you know I'd do anything for you, no matter how angry I am for you not saying hello." Her eyes closed and she seemed to drift off for a moment, "What happened t'you, you were gone and I couldn't find you."
