Day 53 of the IFOST

Because of the long weekend in South Australia, we decided to back track a little to Langhorn Creek (where we went to the wineries) as the families of one of them - Bleasedale Wines - have actually set aside some land for us campers. It was a lovely spot, with lots of people like us , just hanging out waiting for the long weekend to end. We met ( Read more... )

It looks lovely, as always. I taken it South Austrlia isn't experiencing the atrocious weather other parts of the country are dealing with?

For a minute there I thought that was a real sheep until I saw it was standing on a small pedestal.

Olive oil here is outrageously priced.

It's beautiful there! The sheep dip sign made me laugh. :-) I've never been to a winery, I'm hoping to change that when I go to California in a few weeks.

That's a beautiful scene on your fist photo.

What on earth? Is that a real sheep dip? Or just a dip in the road and they have sheep on their minds? I love the one of Dave 'patting' the sheep :)

A long weekend sounds wonderful for working people...I guess not so good for people wanting to go visit places!

The winemaker refers to himself as the Black sheep of the family, the wine labels all have Black Sheep on them.....so that's what the references to the sheep are.
