Day 53 of the IFOST

Mar 15, 2012 20:41

Because of the long weekend in South Australia, we decided to back track a little to Langhorn Creek (where we went to the wineries) as the families of one of them - Bleasedale Wines - have actually set aside some land for us campers. It was a lovely spot, with lots of people like us , just hanging out waiting for the long weekend to end. We met some like minded people, and had a lovely quiet couple of days, before heading to the wine producing area of McLaren Vale. Once again we hit a winery where we bought a couple of nice bottles of wine, and a very nice bottle of olive oil (also made by the same people the wines are made by) and some very yummy Dukkah. Have you ever noticed that a good olive oil is often a lot more expensive than a good bottle of wine?
