Goal for tomorrow: find clothing I can wear in the water, then try surfing - not riding around, but surfing - on Milotic. Leader was kind enough to lend me his HM and I'm dying to try it out. There's got to be people here who surf the way I'm used to, even if they use Pokemon instead of boards. I haven't seen any yet, but I haven't been looking out at the water much lately.
Milotic, in his usual unfazed way, doesn't seem to be nearly as excited as I am. I think it'll be good for us, having a reason to take him out more often. It's already difficult to give him time out of his Pokeball regularly since I have to take a trip to find enough water for him to swim around in, but I love surfing enough to make the trip every few days. And now we can get to Canalave on our own instead of bothering Nino all the time. He doesn't seem to mind, but this is just one more thing I don't have to rely on anyone else for.
