I start work on the 10th. That gives me almost a week to be lazy, or at least less productive than I need to be. I've been thinking about my Pokemon coming along on the show with me, and it might not be such a bad idea. Cubone and Delibird are human-esque enough to help out if they really need to, Milotic will be able to Surf once I get around to walking next door to borrow from Leader, and Ekans can... probably do something. It would be a nice way to bond with my Pokemon, anyway. I think I'll push to take them along.
Otherwise I'd have to leave them with either Nino or Leader while I'm gone, and while I trust both of them, the Pokemon are my responsibility. If I'm going to have them, I should be the one to take care of them, to make sure they're growing properly.
Plus, asking Nino to take care of them for a few days a week is a little too close to saying it's his turn to watch the kids. That's... not an image I'm prepared to deal with yet.
