I start work on the 10th. That gives me almost a week to be lazy, or at least less productive than I need to be. I've been thinking about my Pokemon coming along on the show with me, and it might not be such a bad idea. Cubone and Delibird are human-esque enough to help out if they really need to, Milotic will be able to Surf once I get around ( Read more... )

Honestly, I'm a little upset that you're cock-blocking me from having some truly fiendish adventures with Delibird. How is he supposed "grow properly" if he can't spend some good, quality time with his favorite uncle Nino?

You're lucky I let Delibird around you at all. He was a handful even before you got your clutches on him. I already have one Nino; two of you would be overwhelming.

... I was going to make a really inappropriate comment about Delibird's capacity to be me, but.

Tell me when you're going to go practice surfing with Milotic, yeah? I want to time my projectile vomit just right so that it'll be like we're together.

Ugh, that's my Pokemon. Thanks for holding back your comment, though. It shows personal growth.

I'll get you on him eventually. Even if we're not moving.

Hey, I'm definitely not the first person who's made jokes about Pokemon in poor taste. It's a good thing I like Delibird too much to actually say anything.

Oi, why do you hate me?

Nothing's original anymore, Nino. That doesn't make it right. But I guess your attachment to Delibird is an advantage. How lucky for him.

Seasickness is motion-based. If you're not moving, what's to hate?

Just think of how much fun we'd have, scheming together. Who are you to deny us that happiness?

There's no guaranteeing that Milotic won't, you know, be nudged one way or another. We could try surfing on a solid surface. How's that sound?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the scheming would just cause trouble for me in the end. So it's really for my own benefit that I chaperone your playdates.

You don't have to actually ride on him, you know. It would be nice, but I'm not going to force you. Not really.

Ugh, I don't need a chaperone. I'm not a kid, you know. In fact, I'm two months older than you. Where's the respect?

"Not really"? What's that supposed to mean? I fear I'm going to wake up one of these days in the middle of a lake on top of Milotic.

Hmmmm. I hadn't thought of that yet. You are surprisingly compliant when you're half-asleep.

Don't you dare.

It was your idea. I'm just building on it.

It's not an idea I'm particularly attached to. Don't worry, you can forget it. I won't be offended.

Nah, I wouldn't want to throw away one of your precious ideas. I treasure everything you say.

Then shouldn't you honor my request that you forget something I say? How discriminate your hearing is. What a jerk, this guy.

Hmph. There's no reason to resort to name calling. We are adults, you know.
