[She immediately fingers the ends of her hair, even though she knows he can't see her.]

Oh! About a month ago, I was asking people if they wanted haircuts. I was even giving out pudding as well. I'm out of pudding at the moment, but I can still give you a haircut...if you wanted?

Well, I have been thinking of changing my image for a while! Everyone keeps telling my brothers, aww, your sister's so adorable. But I don't want to pinch my cheeks forever, you know? I want to be like... like that celebrity in that new drama! She's got hair up to her neck and it's sexy cute.

If it's not one thing, it's another, eh?

You could try for a job in the soup kitchen? But... ahhh, it's not my place to hire people there..

It certainly seems like it. And thank you, I'll look into it.

You're welcome.

I know it's only open for a few hours a day, but considering how many people keep arriving here, we could certainly use more help than less, eh?

Besides, it helps to keep busy in a place like this.

Yes, the soup kitchen should be considered very important, especially to new arrivals who are only beginning to settle in. Food becomes easier to obtain once you know where to find it.
