Reason For Apping/Dropping: I apped Graham to camp because Kiwi played Ladd in camp. :Db And Graham actually seemed like an easy character to start with, to me, because he's just so ridiculous and crazy regardless of the circumstances, and I was confident I could do that! I dropped him only because I wasn't playing him and I needed to clear space in my lineup. I could still play Graham with ease, I am sure, but I ran out of new and different things to do with him.

Reason For Apping/Dropping: I feel deeply in love with Medusa while watching the Soul Eater anime (which was only up to episode 24 or so at the time), and even more so when I picked up the manga. She pings me so hard in so many ways. But after a year and a half I... wasn't playing her! Even threads I theoretically loved were like pulling teeth, and I let all her CR fall down, and also gave up on ever getting more Soul Eater cast again.

Reason For Apping/Dropping: So I love Soul Eater as a canon! And really I love all the characters in it. And we had this great Soul Eater cast, that I couldn't really interact with much as Medusa! And somehow we hadn't ever gotten a Soul! So I apped him. I was embarrassed a lot over playing two characters from the same canon, as well as over his last-minute app, but I really enjoyed playing him and I hung onto him a lot longer than I expected after most of our cast dropped. I do feel bad that I didn't get to do much with Hakuren's Maka though. :(

My favorite character in Vesperia is Rita, but I found it kind of likely I'd have the same problems playing her I did with Kimiko. Also, we had no Vesperia cast at the time and Raven was a better choice for interacting with camp without a party, I thought. I was actually kind of wary about the app, because while Raven hits a lot of my pings the skeevy-guy thing actually comes pretty close to my squicks! But... clearly it worked out.

And then I decided to write an app for Justin. He is another one of my favorite characters and I have always vaguely wanted to try playing him, although I was wary because it seemed like it would be hard to get him to interact with people. But there is no time for wariness while writing an app during the window! Then I played him. And it turned out it was hard to get him to interact with people. Woo! Plus Soul Eater canon started disillusioning me.

So I was like "Hm, who don't we have in camp yet? Oh I guess I could app Rose OH MY GOD THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING AND FUN SHE IS PERFECT FOR ME AND I KNOW EXACTLY HOW HER APP WOULD GO!" And then I actually talked to the cast and learned there was an apper already. So I was like "eh, okay, I don't need to app her that badly." But then I... wrote the app anyway? Hidden app secrets: I wrote most of her app before the counselor app round ended, and I had to go back and change the date on the GameFAQs image because I did the first version of it before the camper app date was announced and I guessed wrong. So I talked to people and commented to the beta post, and then I sat on her app with very few changes and very little patience for four weeks. Apparently I did, indeed, need to app her that badly. So far it is everything I hoped it would be.
