Woot.
I got a $2500 award from Western. It was a total surprise! I'm going to save most of it, but I think I'll use some to get the digital SLR I've been wanting. I'm going to see what kind of price I can get if I order it directly from Canon (they offer discounts to Black's employees that are better than what we get in the store). If it isn't too much, I'll just get it from the store so I don't have to wait for Canon to ship it. I'd really like to have it this week because I'll be in Toronto for a good chunk of it.
I'm going home on Sunday morning, and staying until Friday morning. Yay for reading week, and actually getting some of it off work.
