Book 1 A Dirty Old Rooftop
Part 1 ‘Let Me Explain‘
Chapter 1: From The Top *Haylie’s POV
It all began my Freshman year, supposed to have been my 7th grade, year. Yea I skipped a few grades, so I got to be with the older kids, which believe me was exciting. Although for the longest time I was always picked last, I’d never really let it phase me. Then one day I met the Cky crew.

I was walking along in the park minding my business when out of no where I was pushed falling to the ground. I heard laughter I turned to face my punisher of an innocent victim, mouth dropping at the beautiful skater boy every girl wanted to be with and every guy wanted to be, Bam Margera laughing at me. But I was kinda pissed that he pushed me down and out un-rational rage I lifted my legs kicking ,said boy, down. I stood, walking over to him, standing above Bam smiling with pride.
“now you can around saying that you almost got your happy ass kicked by a little girl,” I smiled, stepping on Bam’s chest as I walked over him.
“Wait , Haylie come here,” Bam said coughing,
“How the hell do you know my name,” I turned around astonished.
“We have Biology together, listen I have a question. I was wondering if you’d like to be apart of the Cky crew,” Bam asked surprising me even more.
“Uhh, this isn’t some type of sick joke is it,” I questioned looking around nervous.
Bam laughed lightly stepping to me, turning me around, throwing an arm around me, then leading the way for,” No I came alone. It was my idea. So will you?”
I thought about it for only a second before shrugging and shaking my head,” That would be … Cool I guess.”
“Sweet. You hungry Ape cooked let’s go eat,” Bam spoke rushed proving the ADHD was much worse then I thought it would be.
Chapter 2: The Only Girl *Bam’s POV
“Haylie,” I said laughing, she looked up at me from packing,” Stop singing its horrible.”
“Aww Millionaire,” Haylie pouted and tackled me almost knocking me over.
“I missed you too. How was you graduation trip to Cancun,” I aksed Haylie.
She’d been gone on a week and half on a cruise in Cancun, her parents brought her after her graduation as a congratulations present. Now the child was coming to live with me.
“Brandon,” Poke,” Are you listening to me.”
Smiling knowing Haylie knew she was the only person to ever call me by my birth name and get away with,” Glad to hear it was fun.”
“Thank you,” Haylie’s face lit up,” I’m finished packing.”

“BAM,” April, my mom, yelled for me.
Sighing I paused the video game I wouldn’t be playing if it weren’t raining. I came into the room to see Haylie curled into a ball on the floor sobbing, I looked at Ape.
“What happened,” I said sitting Haylie up.
“Not sure, but fix her I hate seeing her like this,” Ape said worried.
Sighing,” Haylie look at me. What happened?”
“Ryan flip his car again,” She said pure worry in her eyes.
Ryan and Haylie dated for a long time but they weren’t together anymore but were extremely close, just as close as me and Ryan were.
“Go get in the car,” I said standing knowing she would.
“Oh Bam,” Ape said tears forming in her eyes,” I hope he is alright.”
“Come here,” I hugged Ape tight,” He will be.”

Ryan wasn’t hurt bad just a few stitches, lucky ass bastard. We were now sitting in my living room that Friday after I won a skateboarding contest and signed with Element…
“Bam you realize you’re a pro now, right,” Novak said scratching his head.
“Yea Nudie I am… Did you hear that,” I looked over my shoulder to see Haylie come in cover in yellow paint,” Aw, Haylie’s so much for you’re Donatella Versace dress. Guess you’ll go naked to your date,” I laughed only pissing her off more.
“I’m not going to the date, turns out the guy was a dip shit. So whatever, I’ll be in the shower then my room,” Haylie huffed storming off with a strand of profanities following her.
Looking around the room at everyone we all went to laughing, I shook my head standing going to get the key’s to Ape’s car. Smiling when I heard a yelp.
“Raab I’m in a towel and soaking wet, put me the hell down,” Haylie laughed.
“Kinky,” Raab said setting her down.
Haylie ran but Novak got her towel pulling her down.
Haylie hit the ground pretty hard and when she didn’t move everyone in the room stopped.
