With my mom still staying with me, I've been doing a lot of sightseeing again. We're mostly trying to do things I haven't just done with my brother or aunt, which makes it cooler for me too.
We did a drive up the Antrim coast (where I hadn't been before), but it was quite foggy, so although the views were gorgeous, the photos didn't come out too well. We also did some biking and walking close to my house, and we spent all day in Belfast Thursday. It's the
City Hall 100th anniversary, so we did a free guided tour. The tour itself was great, and I was amazed it was free too, you can really tell Belfast is trying to increase tourism.
The building itself is gorgeous and very elaborate. I
uploaded a bunch of photos to Flickr that I took - but I took many more that I haven't had a chance to look at yet. Not enough time in a day!
This afternoon my mom and I are going down to
Sprucefield (she looves the big Marks & Spencer there) - and tomorrow of course is my birthday. So that's my weekend filled!
I have no real plans for tomorow though, aside from catching a movie at the cinema. I prefer low-key birthdays to big and stressful ones, so hopefully tomorrow will be a nice and relaxing one. :)
