My mom is staying with me at the moment, and that means that now all of my close relatives have stayed with me the past summer: my dad and stepmom, my brother, my aunt, and my mom. I guess they all enjoy my new house as much as I do. ;)
It's a bit strange, having her stay here. She's a guest in my house now, my own house - and I feel like such a grownup lol. It's great to have her here though, and have some quality time together. We don't have anything big planned - just hanging out, maybe going to Belfast and Dublin for a day, stuff like that. She's staying for over two weeks, so she'll be here for
my birthday as well. :D
Speaking of which, I can't believe I'm turning 25 in 8 days.
25. How weird does that sound. That's like, late twenties. Closer to 30 than it is to 20. *shudders* Something I prefer not to think about too much - although, on the other hand, it's strange to think how time has flown. This time five years ago, I was starting my sophomore year in college, hating it, and making plans to visit :alison in Ireland for the first time. It seems like yesterday instead of 5 years ago. It's true what they say, time does start to run faster as you're getting older. I think I'm finally starting to notice it now.
