[Eiki went about most her day as usual. She went out on errands she made for herself, and went about her rounds of to stand off boredom. There were two things this day that caught her attention. The first was finding Komachi acting like a typical 1950s woman, which disturbed her rather greatly, the second was the various statues around that had not been there previously. It did not take long to figure something was wrong, especially when she returned home. There was a new statue on the lawn which was not there previously, it also was not in the same spot it had been a moment before when she passed it to walk up the steps.]
[Phone]
Anyone who may have known Komachi, she seems to have become like the drones of this place. From what I have gathered it has been like this for a few days now. I am sorry to all who knew her.
[There's a pause and a shift, as if she's pulling the phone to change locations.]
Also, there seems to be a peculiar abundance in statues today. They are rather suspicious and I would be careful around them.
[Action]
[Not too long after her public service announcement, she goes out on the porch. The statue is ever so closer to the door than it had been earlier. Without shifting her gaze she takes up a chair and sits down to watch it closely. Every so often she looks slightly away only to return her gaze towards it. Each time she judges the distance it's moved. It only takes a few of these for her to figure out it moves when she's not watching. After she realizes this she does not diverge her gaze from it, she does not turn, she does not blink. She is almost like a statue herself.]
This is not so unfamiliar, I can do this all day.
komachi,
not afraid for a second,
knows how to be a statue too,
weeping angels
