Tonks returned to the Order's Headquarters bearing supplies and a copy of that morning's Daily Prophet. For weeks now she'd been hearing vague rumors about a new school the Ministry was going to open, and now those rumors were confirmed by the newspaper.
"Destroyed the school?" she muttered to herself. "We are not the ones who destroyed it. Bastards!"
Tonks grew more and more disgusted as she read the article. This new school sounded like nothing more than a training camp for junior Death Eaters. Teaching Dark Arts to children? It was horrifying. And as if the Slazar Slytherin School for Brainwashing and Advanced Evil wasn't bad enough there was the talk of education for Muggle-borns. This Ministry wasn't going to teach "mudbloods" out of sheer generosity. Whatever they had planned was certainly not in those poor children's best interests. "Control their stolen magic." What did that even mean? How could they possibly have stolen magic? The whole idea would have been laughable if it weren't so ominous.
She threw the newspaper across the room in frustration. The pages fluttered and it hit the opposite wall with a satisfying thwap. "Sweet Merlin, what are we going to do about this?"
