For some reason she couldn't rightly explain, and despite the fact that she had returned more than a week ago, the thought was still a constant in her mind. If they had still been located at Hogwarts, she was more than a bit sure that she would have called it home; she tried to tell herself that home was wherever the Order was, but it just...wasn't the complete truth.
She'd been brought up to date on the current events, the most recent being the plan to bring Harry back from the dead. To ressurect him and bring him back into this war. Minerva hadn't said one way or another what she thought of the plan; she'd simply walked out of the room, in need of air, space, a walk, anything to help her deal. She didn't even have an idea of how leaving had affected the ones that had told her and she still wasn't in the right mind to care.
Logically, strategically, she was aware of its sheer brilliance. Voldemort wouldn't even see it coming to bring Harry back and finally right what had been wrong for so many years. But, also logically, she had dozens of scenarios in which things went completely pear-shaped, and what they brought back wasn't Harry and they may have to kill him. Again.
And then, as if Minerva wasn't thinking too deeply, she both dreaded and desired to see Harry alive again.
Buggered if I do, buggered if I don't, she thought to herself, stopping to lean against the nearest wall. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
