Seattle up, Cardinals down. Great day.
Weekend good: got my Christmas cards done...all but 3 of them because I ran out of stamps. I got down to the Latrobe library and printed out my Best Buy certificates that were going to expire. I went out Best Buy and got a new PS2 controller and Shaun of the Dead with my certificates. I got some walks in.
Weekend bad: I was very sloth. I sat around a LOT. I didn't do any writing. I kinda boned out on some friends (Sorry, Brenna!) because, really, gas is $3.15 a gallon and I'm not going ANYWHERE I don't have to.
I don't mean to be putting off my friends, but that's an unreasonable amount, especially given that I had already driven up to my Grammy's on Thursday. I hate letting the oil companies dictate my life, but I can't afford to drive around just to do it. I'd have liked to go see Brenna this weekend, but...nope. Gas was $2.23 this time last year. WHICH IS ALSO AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT, don't get me wrong, but it is much more conducive to good times than three-fucking-fifteen.
I don't want to turn this into a whole oil companies/gasoline THING, so I should just put an end to this now. Because that's the direction it'd be heading.
