Arrived at Faye's (our host) house about 9am Sunday and spent the day waiting for the rest of the PearsonGAF team to arrive and to get to know them. Lovely, overwhelming welcome from our hosts. Beautiful scenery - and a nature reserve 5 minutes walk away. Fascinating seeing the variety of housing side-by-side directly opposite regimented identical estates. Filling dinner, and talk about what's to come - now fired up for the morrow, and very tired!
An amazing wealth of peoples shows the truly Global nature of this fellowship - and our company: to name a few, Guatemala, Sri Lanka, Canada, USA, Brazil, Philippines... and yet there's no barriers, just excited socialising and so much commonality. It's amazing how the the same themes are shared so widely.
And those looking after us are open, friendly, knowledgeable and so free with their own experiences and lessons learned.
