[It's cause he ain't feeling too hot man.]
You can say that. I guess the upside about the drones is that they aren't going to fire you or get mad at you for a little mishap. [Not that it makes him feel any better. Just another reminder that things don't quite work right here.]
You can say they felt like family to me. It's not something I was expecting.

No... I don't think it does. It's always hard to lose someone, especially if they were like family to you...
I imagine there's some kind of silver lining in there somewhere if you look hard enough, but... I wouldn't belittle your loss by presuming something like that right now...
...I can offer a good cup of tea, though, if that sort of thing is up your alley instead?

He probably went home. [Or at least that's what he's going to cling to.] He belongs at home anyways. There's a lot of people who need him back there. I'm sure it's for the better.
That doesn't sound too bad honestly. I haven't had a good cup of tea in awhile. I'd like that actually.
DON'T EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT BRO <3 /will backtag forever okokcustodismundiNovember 10 2011, 19:03:26 UTC
Then tea it is, hm?
I'm not quite sure where you live, but I've got my little humble abode and all the fixings ready on Albright Lane-- ah, but-- I can take the trip to you, instead! It really isn't a problem. Not in the name of good company, eh?
I can come by. I think I'd like to get out of the place for a little while. Get some fresh air and I guess it would be nice to see a place that isn't mine. Even if everything tends to look the same here.

[there's a call of 'coming!' from the other side-- and then Abel is opening the door a few moments later, all smiles as he spots his tea guest!]
Mr. Grayson? [offering his hand for a shake! as he opens the door more to let him in, too. multi-task, bro.] It's nice to meet you in the flesh! Come on in; it's getting chilly out there, eh?
Yeah that's me. Although I'm not used to being called Mr. Grayson. [Sure, Damian calls him Grayson, but the Mr. just seems so formal.] I'm guessing politeness is important around your time? I'm more used to getting crude jokes about my name.
I'm also rambling. It isn't too bad weather wise. I know when it get closer to Christmas, it'll be pretty chilly though.
A-ahh... I guess it's just habit! Formality is something I'm, ah. Actually rather poor at upkeeping, so it's just a matter of time before it's gone, just you wait! [you know, trying not to offend everyone ever and all that. he steps aside and leads him through toward the kitchen]
Don't worry about it. I don't mind whether you're informal or formal with me. I think I tend to be a little more in the informal side, so I think I should apologize before stepping on any toes. [He walks alongside the other. He'd look around, but it looks just like his house...]
...A rough day, hm? It seems like this town is good for those, isn't it...
I'm sorry if you lost a friend. I suppose that would be the makings for a downer, huh?

I'll put the kettle on for you then, Mr...?

Dick Grayson. I should have introduced myself earlier. You sometimes forget when everyone is constantly replying to each other through the phones.

I'm Abel-- Father Abel Nightroad. Take your time heading on by, okay? I'll keep the tea warm for you.

I'll probably be there soon. This place isn't too big. Which is kind of nice.

Mm! I'll be waiting.
