There's a few more things I've seen around places like dear_mun that have made me frown a little worriedly as well. Namely his flirting with his brothers which is something he wouldn't do. If you ship it, that's fine. But keep it to fanfiction. Without a hell of a lot of character development and quite possibly someone else shoving their attraction in his face, Dick wouldn't be able to think of his brothers as anything but that. Yes, he's a flirt, but he almost always keeps that to the ladies. The same goes for his joking about liking redheads. In fact, I'm fairly certain we really only see him do that around Kate and that's because she's a brick wall of "LOLNO."
I'm sorry if this is the sort of thing that comes off harsh, I really don't mean to me. I just care a lot about Dick as a character and want to see you play him well, and so I felt it was best if I pointed out some things that were bugging me as I stalked.
Sorry about that! I thought I had enabled it, but I must have enabled my other accounts but forgot this one. I thought I had turned Anon on! I'm really sorry about that

I think that you would do well to seriously, seriously consider and reconsider what the above muns have advised. Honestly, I can't add a terrible lot on that front, because they have already covered it pretty efficiently. You need to canon-review and legit read those comics. Don't let the "Dick isn't Batman" thing be a cop-out. He is Batman. He shed a manly tear over how hard it was to be Batman, and then he got over it. If you don't think you can handle playing him as Batman, you need to adjust him back to his Nightwing days--while remembering that Nightwing did more than crack jokes and live sadly under some newspapers for a few rebellious nights. You have a wealth of quality writers behind Nightwing, an amazing run on art--there's no reason for you not to be devouring and absorbing the information and character in those issues

I didn't say I wasn't going to consider the critique. Please don't put words into my mouth that I didn't say. I merely said my point of view. Also I didn't say Dick wasn't Batman. I imagine him acting differently around the public as himself then how he acts with the cowl on.
I think there are some issues with your portrayal of Dick. He doesn't really seemed fleshed out as a 30 year old man, and I see that some of the past critic also notes this. While I don't know you, I can at least guess that you aren't a 30 year old guy, but, I really think you should work on improving Dick's maturity.
I'm not completely sure what the problem is, I don't know how many comics you've actually read, and I don't know how much head canon you're incorporating into the character. Headcanon is obviously an important aspect of live journal rping, but the source material needs to be applied. I feel like you may draw too much from fanfiction, fanart, and the general fanon of the bat characters. Which, while fun to look at, is often not an accurate depiction of the characters

I will still be paying close attention to fixing anything you've mentioned and try fixing any of those problems.
