Pumpking Carving for truth_or_dare (RP for im_afreakshow)
Most Friday nights Sam spent studying in the storage room at Antonio's Nut House where he barbacked. It was a good job for a law student who needed the time to study. He made sure the bar stayed stocked, switched out kegs and the time in between he could spend however he wanted. However, this Friday night he'd taken the night off from work and studying to drive out to Costa Verde. He'd been spending quite a bit of time with Claire but she was having a hard time right now and as far as he knew, he was really her only friend. Tonight Claire wanted to carve a pumpkin. Sam really didn't like Halloween but he couldn't tell Claire no either.
He pulled the Volvo up to Claire's house a little before dark and got out. He'd brought the pumpkin with him. It was sitting in the passenger seat of the car. He got that out along with a knife that was a little smaller than a machete. He carried both to the front door and knocked.
