Co-Writer and creator Damian Kindler did an interview like, back on the 11th, about the first two Seasons of Sanctuary. In it he talked about what they want to do for Season 3!
Can we expect to see more characters in future episodes like Tesla and James Watson that were inspired by Victorian literature?
"In Season 3 we're very much wanting to go back into the history of Magnus. There's such a huge amount of unexplored territory and ideas that we want to go back to. ... Then I think once we've got all that set in stone like we did in Season Two - what monsters we hunt and why and how our characters interact - we can start to get into the characters' back stories. Of course, with Helen Magnus that becomes an amazing [thing] but also a big opportunity for Will as well. There's so much we don't know about these characters and so much we've hinted at..."
You said recently that in Season 3 there might be more of an arc for some of the characters. Can you say a bit more about that?
"... I think we definitely want to get into all of the amazing moments of history that Helen Magnus witnessed and what was going on behind the scenes; some really cool revisionist history moments. And with Will we really want to play into where he came from, how his mind works, what his world is like and what his family is like. I'd like to get into some of that. That's what I would look for as the series unfolds further."
