She stepped aside to let Rose by, watching her shift through the file cabinet. Helen held the torch up enough for the younger blond woman to begin picking at the lock. After a moment her hand moved over to cover Rose's. The expression on her face was rather clear: uncertainty. They had no idea what the contents of this box was. Opening it could of been like unleashing a literal Pandora's Box.
"Ms. Tyler, perhaps we should wait." Helen said cautiously. "We have no proper idea what is inside it. There is no telling if what is inside this box is a threat to the rest of the population. We should do proper tests before we end up being like Pandora."
Helen had found herself responsible for one apocalyptic future. One created by her own hands. She wasn't about to go and let it happen again. Not if she could stop it here and now. Like the item from South America, it had the possibility of having a deadly toxin. One that could shift and morph humans into creatures that were monsters.
Perhaps she was just paranoid.
