Okay so. The Doctor ... really wants to save Leto from doing the things that he knows he will inevitably do. The Doctor and Leto are pretty much the infinite force and the unmoveable object with regards to opinions, but all the same the Doctor is like ... painfully fond of Leto. Because he has all of this magnificent potential and he could do so much and he could be so fantastic and yet he is, to the Doctor, stopping himself from this decision he's made to hold onto fate and an eventual reality. But the Doctor loves Leto! More than he loves other people! Because he understands that to make beauty sometimes terrible things have to happen. But because he's so fond of Leto, he doesn't want him to become a terrible thing, the kind of thing he might have to prevent ( ... )

So the Doctor is one of the very few people in the entire... world of worlds that can get Leto. Leto is a complete and utterly unique person and he is forever segregated from humanity because of this, and he knows it. The only thing that keeps him going is his end result and his deep love for people. Meeting the Doctor for the first time was one of the biggest things that ever happened to him and Leto actually... lowered his guards. He doesn't do that! Sure, he's always truthful, but Leto is a master of manipulation. But being able to talk to another person, also not quite human with a fine understanding of time and humanity. Even the Doctor never approved of Leto, or even hated him, Leto would be happy just by being around him. That's how utterly starved he is for similar company. He's not looking for approval, acceptance or anything close to it. Just. The Doctor being who he is, matters.

Of course, he got the Doctor's friendship, which was more than he imagined and he's very....childlike about having it. A real friendship among ( ... )

What would Eleven do if he saw Leto again.

It depends on Leto's reaction to him. If Leto persists in treating him as if the real Doctor has died and he is just an imitation, his reaction to him would slip from happy to see him to incredibly displeased. Because Eleven isn't the same man he was then! But he is the Doctor, and he's proud to be the Doctor - we could see that when he said that if he killed the whale he would have to find a different name - and it's one thing for people to be surprised by his regeneration but it would be annoying for others to treat him like he wasn't the Doctor. And he wouldn't expect it from someone like Leto, who is so quick on the uptake.

He'd be uneasy too, because of that, for meeting any of his old friends. Eleven's a flighty personality! But he does always come back around. He'd want Leto to accept him and for them to continue being friends :(

Hmmmmmm. Do you think Dean would have said yes if Sam hadn't trusted him not to?

Well, I think it could have still gone both ways, though Sam contributed largely to Dean saying "No" because the core of Dean's personality is that he gets back up when he's down. It was worse this time around because of the culminating events that led up to it. Dean would have said yes, but even though he was considering it throughout that episode, I still think it would have needed to be dragged out of him in some way, because even when he loses, Dean doesn't lose easily. (I think that's why Zach jumped the gun on the haemorrhage there, before Dean could even say anything because Dean only caves with certain pressures).

Vincent and Ganymede on Hayate!

Vincent's impression was just "hahahahahaha ♥"

Ganymede liked Hayate! He would have liked him more were he not a seething pot of Trojan rage at the moment, but he liked Hayate and would probably talk to him again. He understands getting angry for no reason and anyone who gets all blushy and angry amuses him in general because he doesn't understand that kind of behaviour well anymore (except when he does) but he does remember being that way. More pointedly than ever right now, in fact. So there's a sort of nostalgic "... ♥" in it now.

... reverse :x

Hayate liked Ganymede because he was straightforward! Not confusing! And then Ganymede made fun of him so Hayate NEVER WANTS TO TALK TO HIM AGAIN!!! (give him. a day). But yeah, he didn't mind Ganymede the way he minded other people before :|!!!

What is Vincent planning.

Vincent has had his fingers in a lot of pots lately. He was going to poison Saix, but he wants to wait now until Muraki likes him again from Vincent messing with his girlfriend. He knows it'll happen eventually because Muraki is interested in him in several different ways and Vincent is manipulative, but until that happens, Vincent is going to take a chill pill and relax a bit. He's spending his enforced downtime sleeping and messing around on the internet, and decidedly not panicking about what Muraki could be doing to Gil while he's locked up because he knows that's what Muraki wants. He was a bit surprised to see Elliot, and very pleased to find out that Elliot knows and likes Oz. He thinks that's interesting. He might play with that later. He's good. :|b

Yuri's impression of Layfon :B

evervigilante April 22 2010, 10:35:11 UTC
Yuri doesn't have a strong opinion of Layfon beyond he's strong and good in a fight and he looks rather... derpy. Yuri doesn't know a lot of people like Layfon and the fact that their worlds sound rather similar has sparked his interest, so he might seek out Layfon's company more often... and make fun of his faces.

Reverse!

Layfon tends to make snap judgements of people, being possibly the most calculating douche underneath the derpy face :x and the snap judgement was pretty good! Yuri seemed interesting, had a good viewpoint, was entertaining, and Layfon is generally drawn to people who make fun of him so. :B will talk to again!

o yes.

Do you think Dean is incapable of romantic love or is he just really bad at it?

Reply

bromantic April 22 2010, 11:12:30 UTC
I THINK HE'S REALLY BAD AT IT. He doesn't have a lot to go on to make romantic love work. I mean, he did have an idealized version of Mary/John in his head, but he know better. Also, I think it just makes him uncomfortable, like it's a part of life that's just not meant for him. Dean is the kind of person who sticks with his comfort zones. He rarely goes out to do things he's not comfortable with unless it's forced on him in some way.

If we could double-app, who would it be?
