driving, moving and maybe cats

I started going to a driving school last week, but I must say it is so expensive it's a robbery in broad daylight. I had my first driving lesson today and some twenty minutes into my driving my instructor asked me if I had interest in motorsports. I suppose from now on I should tone down my enthusiasm, when stepping on accelerator >;D ( Read more... )

I think I have that love/hate relationships with both Japan and my country too, but so true lol

I have so much troubles keeping a straight face or at least not laughing out loud. All Japanese sitting next to me don't seem to find the waving good byes part odd at all lol
Thank you ;)

wow, you're quitting? Are you leaving Nagoya? It won't be Nagoya without you though >_>
Good luck with driving... I never figured that one out in my native language :B At least if you hit a pedestrian it's not necessarily your fault in Japan!

I'm quitting my university job, but I'm staying in Nagoya. My new job is going to be even closer to where I live now, but a little inconvenient to get to from a train station, thus the driving school ;)
Thank you ;D

I'm glad you'll still be in Nagoya :) Yokatta. You're working for a car company? Toyota, then? What are you going to be doing? :o

I didn't know that you hadn't learnt to drive before. So whats your exciting new job (in the car industry?) that you sold your soul for? lol

Because the school has a rule of taking pictures without earrings and necklaces, but the picture on my school papers is so tiny the earrings wouldn't be visible anyway! So ridiculous >_>
Yesterday I sat behind a wheel for the first time in my life ;P
