Are you more likely to please others or to please yourself?

Honestly if Becker had a choice, everything would be done his way because he's been in some of the darkest places that the world has to offer and he's come out of them alive. The ARC on the other hand appears to be known for its penchant for losing members of their team, some important vital members some would argue.

It's not so much a 'my way or the high way' approach, he likes to think it's a little less obvious than that and he's open to discussion, for the most part, except when it comes to Connor Temple as the man seems determined to make friends with every new ugly the anomalies happen to kick out and Becker's responsibility is simple:

Keep the whole team alive, including Connor Temple.

Becker is the best of the best and there’s a reason he was pulled out of Black Ops duty to baby-sit crazy scientists and oddball civilians and the sooner the team realises it the better, for him and for them. He might not be this Ryan he keeps hearing about and he most certainly isn’t Stephen, but he doesn’t see that as a reflection on who he is as those men are gone and now it’s his responsibility to do what needs to be done.

Becker’s a military man and it would seem the ARC needs that, needs a man with enough vision to realise that making friends with dinosaurs is neither a good look nor a very healthy one ...Now if only he could convince Connor and Abby.

Some battles are clearly never meant to be won.
