When: A Sunday around mid-day.
Where: Outskirts of the Sanq Kingdom, around a small shopping district.

Notes: I know this isn’t the favorite way to play, but with everyone being rather busy with their lives lately and mostly all in different time zones, it seems much easier and more convenient for me

The vender eventually conceded to Duo’s new price and just as the golden strung beads changed hands, Duo caught something from the corner of his eye and would have investigated it sooner had he not been grabbed by the collar before as he was about to run off. The braided shopper grinned sheepishly while he payed what was owed for his new possession.
Transaction finished and out of the way, Duo scanned the crowd again, swearing he saw something familiar only seconds before. Then again he could be going crazy, both were possibilities, but damn was he almost sure he saw something, someone. His lithe and well trained body wove itself easily through the crowds of people, two kid’s playing, a woman carrying twice her weight in items, an old man arguing over a piece of fruit, a guy wrapped up in a coat...a coat? Duo paused, blinking getting that familiar feeling again, he turned towards that guy who he figured was on his way to heat-stroke and did a double take when he turned towards a stall in inspection, recognizing Heat-Stroke-Waiting-to-Happen-Guy immediately.
Suddenly excited, Duo made his way through a small crowd so he was in a good position then burst out directly in front of his old friend, skidding along the sand, creating a small cloud around of dirt around him, a huge grin plastered on his face even while the flying sand stuck to the sweat on his face.
“...He-ey Heero! Remember me?”

...nothing. So who was watching him? Well, whoever it was, they'd be stupid to try and take action against him. Especially in a crowded place like the market.
Shaking off the owner of the stall he was at, Heero turned away to carry on down the streets toward the next destination. A quick stop off at the next stall and he'd be free to head off and out of the area. It was bad enough being stuck around this many people, without having the ever common feeling of paranoia being personified.
However, his journey was quickly cut off as an ever familiar blur made it's way into his path.
"Duo? What're you doing here?"

“So that’s how it is huh? No ‘nice to see ya!’, it’s ‘what are you doing here?’.” Duo shook his head, as he stuffed the necklace he bought into his shoulder-bag. “Come on buddy get a clue, I didn’t exactly stop by for the shopping...and here I thought I was invited.”
Reply
"Usually when a person is invited, they call first to say they're coming."
He continued forward, pausing for a brief moment by Duo's side. "It's good to see you again though." And then he was off once again, fairly sure the other would follow him. Afterall, he said it himself. He'd been invited over, so he wasn't going to leave like that, was he?

Duo blinked, then smiled; big, but genuine. “That’s more like it!” After jogging a few steps to catch up to his friend, one of his arms dropped over Heero’s shoulders. “Happy to be seen, and to see that you’re your usually upbeat self.” A wink, and with his free arm, Duo snatched a few bags from Heero’s grasp, holding them over his shoulder. “So...where we headed?”

Shaking his head a little at his own words, Heero glanced sidelong to Duo. "I need to get some things from the meat stall. After that I'm done." His bags were pushed into a single arm as he led the way to the needed stand. Stopping by it's edge, Heero gave the owner a list of items, before turning back to face Duo as the man prepared the shopping.
"So how long're you here for?" He paused again, rethinking his own words. "You're...welcome...to stay for as long as you want though."

Duo snickered, at his friends all-business approach of trying to get his work done as quickly and efficiently as possible, one day he’d teach Heero the joys of haggling and rubbing elbows with venders, a few extra minutes of conversation can usually save a lot more money. It’s something he’d probably have to ease Heero into eventually. When he was faced again, while holding the eye contact Duo took a second to regard his old friend. They’d both gotten taller and more defined as they were breaching adulthood, though Duo was still the shorter and leaner of the two.
In response, a hand a was flicked off towards the sky. “I don’t know yet, but don’t worry too much, I’ll make sure not to outstay my welcome.”

His attention flicked back to the stall owner as the man held out a hand for payment. Rooting around in his pocket a moment, Heero dug out some screwed up notes, dropping them into the owners hand. As the man sorted out some change, he took hold of the bag. The change was soon returned, leaving the pair free to carry on.
Turning back to Duo, Heero kept an unreadable expression on his face as he spoke. "That's never stopped you before though, has it?" The moment he'd finished, Heero turned to head away from the stall, a smirk drifting onto his face. It was his version of a joke. Too bad it could be taken either way.

“It’s been a long time, maybe I turned over a new league.” Duo didn’t make as much of an effort to catch up again, but his strides were long so he ended up back at Heero’s side in seconds. “Beside’s, if I remember correctly you were just as much in my business, causing me trouble.” He gave Heero’s right shoulder a nudge with his left.
“So, you shacking it up with anyone yet?” Likely a question he already knew the answer to, he didn’t see his old combat companion living with anyone he didn’t know for too long, but Duo figured that he’d heard of stranger things happening so, he wiggled his eyebrows in insinuation after asking. He also wanted to ask about his situation with Relena as it was such an influential factor in many causes and events from what’s amusing to Duo to call; ‘back in the day’, but knew it wasn’t his business and definitely didn’t feel like the time for all that kind of seriousness.

"You haven't changed all that much though, have you?" Slowly weaving his way through the crowds, Heero did his best to try and make his way through without hitting into anyone. "My job was to complete my mission in any way possible. If you got in the way..." He smirked, glancing sideways to Duo as he headed over toward the roadside in order to find a cab.
"I assume that by 'shacking up' you mean living with someone? If that's the case, then no. I stayed with Relena for some time when I came back to Earth." He paused, shaking his head a little. "It didn't work out. So now I live elsewhere."
Reaching the side of the road, he finally stopped, holding a hand out in wait for a cab. He glanced down the road briefly, before turning his attention back to Duo once again. "How about you? Are you still working at the scrap yard with Hilde?"
