The Night Before The Day After
Today has been full of visiting. Oh, and heavy lifting. The old computer is at the Goodwill (complete with monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard) and the unused monitor and speakers returned to Staples. My aunt (Mama's youngest sister) arrived along with my cousin and her husband whom I got to meet for the first time today. Lots of visting ensued, even in the apartment smelling of onions due to the roast beef hash we made and gleefully consumed for lunch. All in all, a good day.
Tomorrow, the Main Event. I go out to pick up the cake at 10 am. I have no idea if I'm taking it over to my cousin's house first or just leaving it in the trunk and failing to mention it to my mother, but we'll figure it out tomorrow. Here's hoping it turns out well. The main thing is that Mama has a good time on her birthday, though. The rest is gravy.
