Tutorial # 7: Spinelli 2

How to make This


(I used PSPX)


First find an image (this one is a promo image of Spinelli from SoapNet.com’s Night Shift Gallery)

Desaturate the image to Black and white

Adjust brightness and contrast (this I did brightness -25 contrast 25)

Resize the image (mine is W 100 H 114 and is obviously too big for an icon (but not for long)

Create a new 100 x 100 image and paste this texture fromwww.ex-posed.com/



Paste the BW image onto the texture and delete the background



Go back to the layer of just your image and select the background....then invert the selection

Take this selection and expand it 2 pixels

Create a NEW layer below your image and fill it with your outline color



Next above the outline layer but below the image layer I used a brush by vintage_g33k



Finally I added text in Action Jackson font

and it's DONE:
