I met these great gals and I'm really thankful.
I forgot what it is like to have friends. I have hung out with them regularly over the last couple weeks. "I support it" as Al would say. I hate that summer is soon to come and they will be an hour to an hour and a half away. Both said they would come to my birthday dinner. That is in July though.
I'm sure Al and I could plan to meet up and go see Tor. For sure.
It just sucks. I don't want to wait until next fall to hang out with these ladies.

I bought cookies for my EDPS group tomorrow. I'm excited about that. I wish I would have thought about it though, my communications class is watching a movie in the morning. I should have gotten a snack for that class too. It's just nice to do things like that. I know I shouldn't since others aren't as kind, but it makes me feel good.

I wrote a haiku the other night in facebook. It came to me as I tried to get to sleep. I forgot the number of syllables in each line so I looked it up and created the first line to go with the two I already had. Its random and unlike me. I think I'm pretty much proud of it:
Dark sky, hazy clouds
Rain dancing on my window
Wind squeals in my ears

I am having trouble going to bed at a decent time anymore. 1-2-3-6am... these are not the times I should be settling down when I have a 9:30 class. humph!
I need to get back to working out and going to bed. I'm too pooped to even think and I sink into a happy slumber in no time.
Oh, to get back to working out.... :~/

I went to Wayne with Allison today and met her family. She needed her phone charger and so I went along for the ride. Her sis wasn't so great and pretty much confirmed everything Allison has told me about her, but her parents were great! Al has her issues with them but I really liked them. She has the kind of mom that wants to know everything about you in 5 minutes and feels bad she doesn't have any dinner prepared for us to eat. I had a full belly and she still offered money for us to grab a bite on our way home. What a lady! They are way into the tigers, which makes them pretty sweet too!
It has been a LONG time since I had to meet any parents. I remember always winning them over though. Pam and her parents didn't get along in the least bit, whenever she wanted to stay at my house or have me stay at hers, I always asked because they thought I was absolutely amazing and "such a dear" and NEVER told me no. HA! If only they knew the truth about me.

I'm going to attempt to go to bed since I really have nothing meaningful to write.
g'night
