Okay, so me and my friend Jeannine the other day were having a conversation about dreams and the interpretation of those dreams. She had the same really funny dream twice last week about her privacy being invaded- as she would be going to the bathroom, people would just keep coming into the room and just stare at her which for obvious reasons, made her feel uncomfortable. The frequency of this dream got her curious and so she looked up a dream interpreter website. It said that the kind of dream she was having meant that she was feeling really uncomfortable about the levels of exposure she was feeling in her personal life and it was utterly right on! Too many people knowing too much about her junk has not been the funnest for her and has recently sky rocketed her out of her comfort level chart!
Anyhow, we were talking about my dreams and I am awful at remembering them which is not as fun for this kind of conversation. I was able to tell her however, that when I was little- like 4-5 years, I remember having these awful nightmares about aliens attacking me! I was that girl that slept with the covers over her head (sparing a small, just-big-enough-to-breathe-out-of hole) growing up because aliens were alive and real and in my room and wanted to hurt me, or at least they wanted to scurry around my bed all alien-like making me believe so. Either way, Jeannine and I were so intrigued as to what this could mean for me....surely it could not be good.
The following is my alien dream interpretation:
To dream that you are being abducted by aliens, indicates your fears of your changing surroundings or your fear of losing your home and family. You feel that your space and/or privacy is being invaded. To see aliens in your dream, signifies that you are having difficulties adapting and adjusting to your new surroundings. You are feeling "alienated" and invaded. You are also having difficulties in how to handle or deal with a certain situation or person. On a psychological level, seeing aliens may represent an encounter with an unfamiliar or neglected aspect of your own self.
WIERD! Right around the time that I was having these dreams was when the really bad thing happened. It all totally makes sense. Dad leaves and alien dreams follow. "Indicates your fears of your changing surroundings or your fear of losing your home and family". Wow! I had no idea that these dream interpretations could be so accurate- who studies this stuff and how in the heck did they associate aliens and childhood trauma?! Either way, the timing of this discovery is impeccable. The Lord told me that this would be a year of "dealing" with my past. And so it begins....
