CSU update 2....
soooo.........things have been good these past few days! Yesterday it was a crazy scavenger hunt in the mall where our college team dressed up in crazy outfits and disguises that we got from the local thrift store and went to the mall where 70 screaming high-school students were dropped off and challenged to find and identify all of us and get our signatures to win! The tricky part was that none of them had ever met any of us! It was awesome! I bought some maternity clothes from Savers, stuffed some bedding into my big 'ole pants (ya know, the ones with the little parachute area in the stomach) and threw some glasses on, preceded to waddle around the mall and peruse through the maternity clothes at "Motherhood". It was all but too realistic, so much so that the kids couldn't recognize me! fun though! After that, it was onto broomball where my body was, as usual badly bruised, but we had fun! And then today it was six flags and rollercoasters with screaming middle schoolers! What fun what fun!
Anyhow, I am doing well. Needing some good time with the Lord here soon. Things with the team are getting better. Just pray that all would be seen as having value and not just the people that are seemingly more charismatic and confident and gifted! I pray that insecurities and walls would be utterly broken down and that a unity comes about that is only possible through the Lord! It's a huge prayer at this point but I believe! Anyhow, I have to go now. The Gym and some serious team bonding volleyball is about to go down:)
Pray tomorrow for the outreach we will be doing in Olde Town! Hopefully many will get opportunities to hear about how much Jesus loves them! That's our hope anyway.... Happy 4th of July!
